12 Fun Things to Do in Nature While Glamping: Outdoor Activities for All Ages
Glamping is a great way to get outside and enjoy nature. It can also be a lot of fun! If you are looking for some outdoor activities to keep you busy while on holiday, we have you covered. In this blog post, we will suggest 12 fun things to do in nature while you are at Tiki Camp. These activities are perfect for all ages!
Go for a hike
A hike is a great way to explore the area around the camp. It is also a great way to get some exercise! Langeland offers some great hikes, you can also walk a part of the Øhavsstien while you’re here!
But hiking is a not just a great way to see the sights, it is also an easy way to get some exercise while glamping. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks – and of course don’t forget your camera! There’s some great views here on the island as well as a lot of wildlife, deer, wild horses, rabbits…
Geocaching is a fun outdoor activity that involves searching for hidden treasures using GPS coordinates. This activity is perfect for all ages. Download the Geocaching app on your phone to join the fun. Geocaching is a fun activity that’s enjoyed by people all around the world. It is also a great way to explore the area around Tiki Camp. And just like hiking, it’s also a great way to get some exercise! Be sure to bring along a GPS device and plenty of water.
Stargazing is a great way to enjoy the beauty of the night sky. Thanks to being on the country side here, we have hardly any light pollution which allows for clear skies most nights. On a really clear night you may even be able to see the milky-way above Tiki Camp. Just snuggle up outside in a blanket with a drink and some snacks and enjoy the views.
Orienteering is another great way to explore the area around Tiki Camp by using a map and compass. It’s an activity that is perfect for all ages. All you need is a map and compass. And we are not talking about Google maps 😉
Play some games
Games are a great way to have fun while camping! There are many different games that can be played both indoors and outdoors. Some popular outdoor games include frisbee, tag, hide-and-seek, the kings game, badminton, and many more. You can find plenty of games in our games cabinet outside the campsite kitchen or in the coffee caravan.
Take a nap in the sun
A nap in the sun is the perfect way to relax and recharge your batteries. Make sure you to apply sunscreen, though, as too much sun can be harmful! Even here in Denmark 😉
Go on a treasure hunt

Have a picnic
A picnic is a great way to enjoy nature and eat some delicious food. Why not walk or cycle to one of the beautiful beaches here on the island and spend the afternoon soaking up the sun, taking a dip in the water and having some great food and cold drinks. You can find plenty of snacks to take with you in our shop.
Cook dinner over a campfire
There is nothing quite like cooking dinner over a campfire. We have many great ingredients for you to make a wonderful dinner, check them out in the shop. During the season you will find a lot of fresh produce from our garden. And if you still can’t find enough, why not go to Tullebølle and visit our small local supermarket.
S’mores are a classic camping treat that everyone will love. All you need are some cookies, chocolate, and marshmallows. You can find everything you need for S’mores in the Tiki Shop. If you never heard of S’mores, here’s how you do it – it’s like the fancy version of roasting marshmallows!
1. Place a cookie on a plate.
2. Top with a piece of chocolate.
3. Roast a marshmallow over the fire until golden brown.
4. Place the roasted marshmallow on top of the chocolate and top with another cookie.
Tell ghost stories
Ready to cuddle up for the night? Telling ghost stories around the campfire or inside your tent is a great way to get everyone in on the fun. Just be sure not to scare anyone too much! What adds even more to the atmosphere, you may hear a deer walk past your tent at night.
Relax and enjoy
Relax and enjoy the scenery. Sometimes the best thing to do while glamping is just to relax and enjoy the scenery. We have many cozy spots here at Tiki Camp. Why not sunbathe in our lush gardens, explore the veggie garden (feel free to do some tasting), book a free sauna visit, or cuddle with our many rescue animals. We are sure you will leave Tiki Camp much more relaxed than when you arrived.
