  • If you need to change or cancel your booking (counts for any reason, including COVID):
Your reservation is binding, no refund is possible. You can however change your booking up to 2 weeks in advance, we will happily assist you with finding a different date.
If a new date is not found or preferred, you can freely resell or gift your stay to family, friends or similar. Please let us know if that is the case so we can change the reservation details.

  • If we need to cancel your stay for whatever reason, we will refund the full amount of your booking or reschedule to another date.

  • All gift vouchers – purchased online or emailed as personalised gift vouchers – are valid for 1 year after the purchase date.

  • Tiki Camp is an eco-camp. By booking a stay, you acknowledge that fact and respect our camp values while you are here. Such as using water and wood consciously, take home what you bring too much of, limit your rubbish, recycle, be kind to all animals, don’t waste any food and maybe even limit or pause your meat consumption :).

  • Check from 3pm/15:00 and preferably before 5.30pm/17:30 on the day of your booking. Let us know if you are planning to come later. Departure time is 11pm / 11:00 on the day that you leave.

  • Vehicles are not permitted on the camp area or in the main courtyard in front of the house. Car parking is available behind the main sheds, follow the sign. Bikes can be parked outside or in the (unsecured) shed. We cannot take responsibility for damage or loss to vehicles or their contents.

  • There’s a playground on site. We ask you to always look after your kids when they use climbing trees, trampoline, swing or slack-line. Using the playground is at your own risk, Tiki Camp cannot take any responsibility for any personal injuries or damage to clothing or belongings.

  • While we prioritise your safety and well-being, it is essential for you to exercise caution and make informed decisions during your stay. As much as we strive to create a secure environment, accidents can occur, and we cannot be held responsible for such unforeseen incidents, to the fullest extent allowed by law. Your stay at Tiki Camp involves inherent risks associated with weather conditions, outdoor tented accommodations, and the proximity to natural surroundings, including trees. Tiki Camp bears no responsibility for accidents including injury or death resulting from unpredictable weather, and guests must exercise their own judgement regarding the safety of activities. We strongly recommend obtaining a travel insurance to protect you against unforeseen weather-related events that may require cutting short your stay with us. By confirming your reservation, you acknowledge and accept all associated risks and responsibilities during your stay at Tiki Camp.

  • Damage policy: All tents, the Dome and Caravan as well as all facilities have to be used with care and guests have to be considerate of their camp neighbours. Any caused damages must be communicated immediately to the camp owners. Damaged or missing items, furniture and appliances will be charged to the guest. Tiki Camp reserves the right to charge the guest for damages detected after departure and/or to charge the guest’s credit card given as guarantee. The same applies when the tent, Dome or Caravan cannot be rented further because of necessary repairs and extra cleaning caused by the guest.

  • Our animals welfare is our first priority, and we are therefore most likely not able to accommodate your pets. However, exceptions may be made, so please do contact us if you’d like to discuss further.

  • From time to time we might need to carry out site maintenance during your stay.

  • We provide outdoor fire cooking sets with every tent, please use these responsibly and do not leave lit fires unattended. We expect all guests to follow our instructions provided. Tiki Camp always keeps the right to ask you not to use the outdoor cooking or sets or indoor stoves should there be strong wind or dry weather. Please ask if you are unsure.

  • Our large bell tents as well as Tiki Dome have a wood burning stove in the tents. The use of these is at your own risk. We have provided a carbon monoxide alarm, fire blanket and fire extinguisher provided in each of these accommodations. However, there are some rules to adhere by – do not to keep the fire on while you sleep, and always leave a window open. You may not use the fires under the influence of alcohol. Do not burn your own wood or wood you collect on site in these stoves but only the dry wood provided by us. Wet wood poses a large health and fire risk. Note that Tiki Camp takes no responsibility for any accidents including injury or death caused by misuse or disregard of these rules.

  • Please take care when using fire pits/stoves or the communal kitchen stove. We check these regularly and keep them in good order but cannot take responsibility for accidents caused by misuse. We will show you how to use your wood stoves when you arrive but please do ask if you need further help.

  • Please do not smoke in any of the glamping accommodations or in the communal camp kitchen. Be mindful of kids and other guests around when you smoke outside. Please clean up any buds yourself.

  • We have a farm pond on the property. The site is also uneven in places. Please take care of yourself and your children when on wandering around, as we don’t have fencing in place apart from tree lines. Tiki Camp takes no responsibility for accidents caused by neglect or by being not careful.

  • There are working farms close by, there may occasionally be large, loud and/or dusty farm machinery at work in the surrounding fields during your stay.

  • We cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to guest’s property or injuries that occur on the camp site unless they are found or caused by negligence on behalf of Tiki Camp. Please come and talk to us if you find something of concern on the site.

  • We regularly maintain the bicycles that are available to borrow or rent at Tiki Camp. However guests use these bicycles at their own risk and we recommend that you check them yourself and make sure that you are happy with them before borrowing.

  • We will take appropriate measures to ensure that all facilities and equipment are in good working order before the start of your stay.

  • Please use the site facilities responsibly and leave them as you would like to find them. The facilities are checked regularly but please let us know if there is any damage, loss or breakage immediately. If your glamping accommodation is left in an untidy or damaged condition, cleaning and repairs are chargeable.

  • Tiki Camp is a quiet, relaxed, natural campsite. We would ask all of our guests to respect this and in particular, keep noise to a minimum especially after 10pm – thank you. We ask that you do not bring/use any amplified music anywhere on site, but acoustic instruments are always welcome around the campfire. Persistently noisy guests may be asked to leave without refund.

  • Please do let us know if you have any complaints (or compliments!). We will try to resolve them to the best of our ability.

  • Data Protection: We will only use your personal contact details in order to complete the booking process or to inform you of updates and offers relating to the campsite.
